The RPR 100S receiver generates accurate position updates using the WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System). The WAAS signals are broadcast from satellites and are available without a subscription fee. The signal is available everywhere in the US, parts of Canada, Mexico, plus Europe and Japan using compatible systems called EGNOS and MSAS. The RPR 100S provides 2 meter accuracy 24 hours a day in all wheather conditions.
