Generation 1 is the original Loral boom on Ag-Chem Chassis.
Generation 2 used pins to attach the mid to the inner section and the breakaway is straight back.
Generation 3 The breakaway action is upward/rearward vs straight back with pins like the Generation 2.
Generation 4 Started using ball Joints to attach the mid to the inner section.Generation 2 used pins to attach the mid to the inner section and the breakaway is straight back.

Generation 5 Leveling cylinder was a spade type vs the clevis style used previously. The outer section uses a v-shaped angle to lock it into place.
