New Leader L20-20 boxes with a belt over chain uses a steel shield with a rubber sealer rivited to it. The rubber sealer is available in different lengths. You must order rivets separately to install sealer.
Instead of using rivets to install the rubber sealer strip to the metal chain shield, an alternative T-bolt and cap nut system is now available to use instead. Note that the T-bolts are available in either zinc plated or stainless steel.
Quantities of each to use are as follows:
1) For a 12' box, use 104 of each.
2) For a 12' 6" box, use 108 of each.
3) For a 13' box, use 112 of each.
4) For a 14' box, use 116 of each.
5) For a 15' box, use 124 of each.
It is advisable to order a few extra of each part in case they are needed.
Notes: To help you to determine the size of the spreader box that you are working with, the chain shields or sealer strips will measure 12" longer than the actual spreader box size. I.E., a chain shield or sealer strip that measures 13' 6" long means that the spreader box is a 12' 6" unit.
