Hypro pumps are available in cast iron, Ni-resit, or the super corrosion resistant Silver Series XL, models. Shafts are stainless steel and bearings are factory lubricated - so no greasing is required. The Silver Series models are especially designed for use with highly-corrosive herbicides. Test results indicate they can last up to ten times longer than cast iron models and three times longer than Ni-resist.
